Oshebeng Koonyaditse obtained a Certificate in Journalism from the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association. Further studies culminated in an MBA at North West University. He attracted the attention of Radio Mmabatho where he became a radio presenter, news reader, reporter and sports commentator.
He was voted best commentator of the tournament during the 1996 Africa Nationals Cup; was placed third in the 1998 World Cup; and received a PSL Merit Award for the 2003/4 season.
